Our active clergy serve the community through leading ritual and acts of service. Clergy services offered can include assisting with a large variety of life events. They can help you joyously celebrate legal weddings or handfasting, and commitment or joining ceremonies. They can preside over both the endings and beginnings of life, through funeral or memorial services, and baby blessings. Rites of passage are another common request, and cover changes in phase of life such as menarche or croning. Some may also offer pastoral or spiritual counseling, and house blessings or cleansings.

Reverend Heron

Pronouns: She/her/hers
Reverend Heron serves the members and community of Sacred Circle as the founding member. She was first ordained in 1996, and founded The Church of the Sacred Circle in 2003.

Her driving philosophy is to provide leadership through equality, and to assist others on their own spiritual paths in a true “family of the heart”.

Reverend Grayowl

Reverend Grayowl was ordained as clergy for the Church of the Sacred Circle on February 1, 2010. She has served in many capacities for the church, and is based out of our Central location.

By our tradition, I became of age at eight years old.  Thus, my grandmother, the wise healer of the Clan of the Owl gave me a name – which meant from that moment on, my relations stopped referring to me as “child”. I was then free to pursue my destiny and find my own gifts and calling.

My personal interests include community activism, mainly in the field of civil and human rights, the environment, and working with youth.

– Rev. Grayowl
